Administration
Kathy Hudak
Director of Administration
My professional journey has been built on adaptability, leadership, and a commitment to keeping businesses running smoothly. I began my career as a business owner, co-owning and operating a successful hair salon with my sister from 1992 to 2001. After selling my share of the business, I stepped away from full-time work to focus on raising my twins, returning to the workforce once they reached middle school.
In 2010, I joined my husband’s construction company, The Hudak Companies, where I quickly immersed myself in the many facets of construction administration. I developed extensive experience in accounts payable and receivable, payroll, certified payroll, employee onboarding, security clearances, employee benefits, and the management of health and liability insurance. Over time, I became the go-to person for virtually every aspect of office operations, earning a reputation as a versatile problem-solver who could keep all the moving parts of the business running efficiently.
In 2016, I took the next step in my career, joining a larger construction company as Office Manager, a position I held through 2024. During those years, I oversaw daily office operations, streamlined administrative processes, and helped maintain an organized, efficient, and professional work environment. This experience further strengthened my leadership, organizational, and business management skills.
In 2024, I was excited to return to working alongside my husband, bringing my experience and knowledge to Timothy James Construction (TJC) as Director of Administration. Today, I oversee a wide range of essential business functions, including accounting, payroll, employee onboarding, insurance, security applications, company accounts, and banking. I take pride in being a dependable resource for our team and helping establish the administrative foundation necessary for TJC’s continued growth and success.
My approach has always been centered on organization, accountability, and building strong working relationships. I believe that a well-run office is essential to a successful construction company, and I’m proud to play a key role in supporting our employees, leadership team, and the company’s long-term vision.
