Ed Torres

My career in the mechanical insulation industry began in 1981 as an apprentice, where I developed a strong foundation through hands-on experience and learned the trade from the ground up. Over the years, I worked with several companies, continually expanding my knowledge, refining my skills, and gaining a deep understanding of the industry.

In 1995, I transitioned into estimating with Arctic Insulation, where I combined my field experience with a growing understanding of project planning, pricing, and business operations. By 2001, I had become the owner of the company, taking on the responsibility of leading its operations and overseeing its continued success. I proudly served in that role until 2012, gaining invaluable experience in both business management and the mechanical insulation industry.

After taking a break from the industry, I returned in 2021 as a Superintendent, bringing decades of experience and a renewed perspective to the field. In 2024, I took on a new challenge as Operations Manager at Timothy James Construction, where I focus on streamlining operations, supporting our field teams, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

With more than four decades of industry experience, I bring a unique combination of hands-on expertise, estimating knowledge, business ownership, and operational leadership. I take pride in sharing that experience with our team, solving challenges, and helping deliver the quality workmanship and dependable service our clients expect.
