Pre-Construction
Dan Mahon

My career in the mechanical insulation industry began in 1982 as an apprentice, where I developed a strong foundation through hands-on field experience and learned the trade while working with several companies. After four years, I advanced to Mechanic, taking on greater responsibility and independently managing projects, a role I held until 2006.
In 2006, I transitioned into the home improvement industry, where I successfully owned and operated my own business for three years. In 2009, I returned to mechanical insulation, where I spent five years further developing my skills and expanding my industry knowledge.
Following that experience, I spent three years in the environmental sector, specializing in residential Energy Star inspections. This broadened my technical knowledge and gave me a different perspective on building performance and energy efficiency.
In 2018, I returned to the mechanical insulation industry, starting back in the field and putting my extensive experience to work. Within a year, I transitioned into estimating, where I continue to apply my practical field knowledge to project planning, pricing, and execution.
With more than four decades of experience spanning field operations, business ownership, energy efficiency, and estimating, I bring a well-rounded understanding of the industry. I take pride in combining practical experience with attention to detail to help ensure every project is accurately estimated, efficiently executed, and completed to the highest standards.
