About Kathy Hudak:
My career has been a journey of growth, adaptability, and a passion for making things run smoothly behind the scenes. I began my professional life as a business owner, running a successful hair salon with my sister from 1992 to 2001. In 2001, I sold my share of the salon to focus on raising my twins, stepping away from full-time work until they entered middle school.
In 2010, I officially joined The Hudak Companies, my husband's construction business, and dove into the world of office administration. Over the years, I learned every aspect of running a construction office—from accounts payable and receivable to payroll, certified payroll, employee onboarding, security clearances, company benefits, and managing health and liability insurance. I became the go-to person for anything and everything administrative—essentially the “jack of all trades” that kept the office running smoothly.
In 2016, I took my skills to a larger company, where I served as Office Manager through 2024. I oversaw all office operations and worked hard to ensure everything functioned efficiently and professionally. It was a rewarding chapter that strengthened my leadership and organizational skills even more.
Now, in 2024, I’m excited to return to working alongside my husband at Timothy James Construction. At TJC, I continue in my role as Director of Administration, overseeing all office responsibilities, including accounting, payroll, employee onboarding, insurance, security applications, company accounts, and banking. I'm proud to be part of this next chapter and am committed to supporting TJC’s growth and long-term success for years to come.
